Wine cellar / house museum of José Maria da Fonseca
Famous for its wines and ‘Moscatel of Setúbal’ (a regional liquor). Here you’ll have the chance to be in touch with the wine production process and its history, as well as the opportunity to taste the region’s excellent wines.
Fort of São Filipe
A 16th Century Fort that played a tactical role in reinforcing the Portuguese coastline, whipped by pirates from northern Europeand Africa. Currently operating as a Pousadade Portugal, it has a baroque chapel, covered with tiles, dated 1736, by Policarpode Oliveira Bernardes, depicting scenes from the life of Saint Filipe. From its walls you’ll have the most breathtaking panoramic view of the city and the bay.
Arrábida Mountain Natural Park
Known for its Mediterranean climate and flora. Here you will have a unique opportunity to enjoy amazing views.
